January 2010 Winter in Kenmare Kenmare suffered it's coldest winter in history. Businesses and residences were affected by the snow and ice. Cars were not able to pass the county bounds and in Kenmare along Bridge Street into The Square it was hazardous to walk. The heavy snow and frost was a problem for the Kerry County Council. Road surfaces damaged and potholes the size of small pond are a headache. BACK
